You should know that there is a residence permit in Spain for Digital Nomads. As long as you meet the requirements to apply for the permit, you can obtain a residence permit that can be valid for 3 years.
The main requirements that must be met are:
- Working remotely
- Your main source of income must be a foreign company (that is, not Spanish)
- Have an annual income of approximately 33,000 euros
- Have been working for the client company (foreign) for more than 3 months
- The client company (foreign) must have been operating for more than 1 year
- No criminal record.
It’s important to mention that you can request this permit whether you are self-employed or an employee!
