You should know that there is a Residence Permit for Highly Qualified Professionals that can last up to 3 years.
It is important to note that to apply for this residence permit, you must have a university degree (bachelor’s and/or master’s) or demonstrable professional experience of 3 years or more, and you must have a job offer from a Spanish company, which must also draft a descriptive report of the job position, justifying why the company needs someone with such profile and qualifications, and documenting that a salary corresponding to the level of the worker will be paid.
To access this permit, there are salary requirements :
- The salary for technicians and specialists must be equal to or greater than €40,077 gross annually;
- For directors and managers, a minimum of €54,142 gross annually.
In the case of employees aged 30 or younger, a reduction coefficient of 0.75 will apply to the salary requirements.
